Well to tell you the truth I don't really know what to tell you about my diversity event. Basically my diversity event speaker talked about how having different types of people working together is better than just having really smart people of the same mind set working together. It was actually kind of interesting stuff. The speaker also wasn't dull or boring and remembered to throw in some funny moments to keep the audience attentive. He also went through a bunch of different types of examples to show his point, which is always very helpful when presenting to an audience.
This blog post is kind of short. But I don't really have all that much to say on it. I already knew its better to have different types of people working together to find a better solution, then people of the same type working together. Mostly because while a certain type of person's thinking is directed only in one direction a group of a bunch of different types of thinking will be able to make up for that one directional way of thinking. They will be able to think of many more types of solutions then a group made up of only one type of thinking or intelligence.
